Mechanisms of reward responsivity in adolescence


Low responsivity to rewards is a risk factor for developing depression, and this risk factor may be particularly pronounced during adolescence. Currently, very little is known about the normative mechanisms of changing reward responsivity across adolescence or how these processes are disrupted in relation to the etiology of depression. My work examines these mechanisms across two primary aims:
